About Us
Who are we?
We are the Mendoza family. Richard and Kimberlee met at church, while writing a play. They have been putting on various productions ever since. Richard has been a cinematographer/photography teacher, a church worship leader, and a technical director. Kimberlee current serves as a Dean of Languages & Literature, and is a published playwright and author. She also has dabbled in comedy and has directed eight different drama/fine arts teams for more than 30 years. Their children attended the San Diego Creative and Performing Arts School for music and acting. Ricky and Maddie (son and daughter-in-law) are on the West Texas Comedy team, and both have been performing in theatre for more than a decade. In addition, Ricky teaches writing and acting at a high school in Lubbock. Together, we have decades of experience and want to help local talent realize (and share) their expertise.
